Senior Key Account Manager

The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the growth and client satisfaction the Company’s Global Key Accounts. He/She will also be required to work with operations, vendors, airlines and ocean carriers to develop solutions to client’s supply chain challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth implementation and running of key accounts and business for Crane
  • Maintain, retain, and grow existing key accounts.
  • Ensure assigned accounts align with corporate/regional strategies and meet key performance indicators outlined in contracts.
  • Managing key accounts, ensuring their business growth and profitability.
  • Conduct business reviews, analyze opportunities and risks, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Gather pertinent customer information for RFI/RFQ/RFP and collaborate closely with the tender and product teams to develop winning plans and strategies.
  • Ensure seamless business implementation, including the smooth handover of SOPs to operations, and continuously monitor compliance.
  • Manage specific projects for assigned key accounts, ensure effective and efficient communications, operation, and overall customer satisfaction and profitability of a project/shipment.
  • Develop operational capabilities and infrastructure to support key verticals.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Key Accounts and Sales Support Teams.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or discipline related to Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Key Account Management experience in Air/Sea/Logistics with a minimum 3 years leading a team
  • Prefer incumbent to have related working experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Ability to develop new sales opportunities or strong Key Account Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Viso and Word )
  • Proven track records in growing business for the organization
  • Self-motivated with strong execution & people skills will be highly considered
  • Strong problem-solving mentality
