Our Client is a leader in the Energy Manufacturing industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Responsibility
- Work and liaise with the plant's engineers and technicians from maintenance parts and materials required base on the requirement.
- Responsible for sourcing activities from local and international suppliers.
- Prepare and dispatch RFQs to the appropriate suppliers, monitoring their responses.
- Execute a supplier evaluation and selection process to ensure alignment with the required technical and commercial specifications.
- Facilitate the expeditious delivery of orders and maintain communication with internal stakeholders for any order modifications.
- Address supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors and adhere with commercial, legal, and contractual obligations in all procurement transactions.
- Initiate continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process.
- Any Ad-hoc duty as given
Requirements
- Min Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc)
- Min 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Procurement (Technical)
- Hands-on experience in MS and Excel. SAP experience will be bonus.
