Position Overview
- We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in our Singapore office.
- As a Procurement Specialist at our IT company, you will play a pivotal role in managing our supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers in the IT industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality products and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
- Engage in price negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Optimize accounts payable (AP) processes to improve cost efficiency.
- Assess the potential for outsourcing certain aspects of procurement or supply chain functions.
- Collaborate with outsourcing partners, if applicable, to ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast and plan for IT product and service requirements.
- Ensure alignment between supply and demand to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of IT-related goods and services.
- Oversee transportation and delivery to ensure timely and cost-effective processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement agreements and supplier interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in supply chain management, business, or IT-related disciplines are preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
