What You’ll Do:
Distribution Planning
- Plan and design Low Tension (LT) distribution network for residential, commercial and industrial estates
- Liaise with LEWs or customers to finalise service connection requirements
- Travel to various site daily to carry out site surveys and check LT network loading
- Prepare service costing for customer’s service connection
- Conduct load measurement and assist Engineer/Executive Engineer in load survey work
Mapping & Earthwork Administration
- Liaise with project officers / external contractors or surveyors and ensure accurate and timely submission of the survey drawings
- Perform quality checks on the transmission / distribution surveyed information submitted by contractor / surveyor
- Edit and update of the transmission / distribution surveyed information (pipe data) in GEMS
- Ensure accuracy and timely update of the work-in-progress (WIP) information in GEMS
- Update single-line network diagrams of various High Tension (HT) levels from commissioning diagrams and monitor the submission to ensure non-omission of commissioning diagrams received
- Re-align existing cable routes in the mapping system to any landbase information updates
- Provide production support to end-users, handle user queries and resolve production issues
- Carry out update and conduct quality checks of Low Voltage (LV) network changes and land features such as roads, building, electrical substations etc. into the mapping system
- Any other duties assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Diploma in any Engineering discipline from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
- Must have relevant experience in any engineering design software such as AutoCAD
- Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
