Assistant Manager, Interior Design

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop detailed space plans and layouts that optimise the use of available space while ensuring functionality and flow.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, and colour schemes that align with the project concept and positioning.
• Choose appropriate materials, furnishings, lighting, and accessories to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of the space.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the design is implemented accurately according to design and within budget.
• Coordinate with relevant business units to ensure appropriateness of design to product positioning and branding.
• Keep abreast with industry trends, new materials, and design techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in luxury residential and hospitality sector either representing design consultants, developers or both inclusive.
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Project management skills and ability to work well in a team.
