The senior lab analyst in the Analytical Service Laboratory in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, plays a multifaceted role that encompasses precise chemical analysis, adherence to quality management systems, and active participation in production-related activities. This position is designed to contribute to the laboratory's commitment to ISO/IEC 17025 standards while also supporting production processes to meet organizational objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for improving safety culture through strong participation and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, procedures, and protocols.
- Responsible for 5S activities in Lab and Housekeeping inspections.
- Responsible for all relevant risk Assessments activities to ensure risk assessments are done and documented.
- Responsible for timely reporting of all near misses and Incidents within the Lab.
- Responsible for chemical consumable inventories stays with in HS License limits.
- Accountable for day-to-day sample planning and scheduling, with objective to accurately and timely delivery of COAs and Analytical reports in a timely manner.
- Accountable and responsible to carry out sampling activities in the Lab related to ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GC, GCMS, IC and Wet chemistry.
- Accountable to develop, update and maintain Standard operating procedure and other quality documents.
- Accountable for all the waste management generated from the day-to-day operations.
- Accountable for maintaining and enforcing cleanroom regulations for all personnel, vendors, and visitors.
- Accountable for vendor management to ensure equipment upkeep by intime execution of calibration, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities in adherence to regulatory and quality assurance standards.
- Accountable for LIMs (Sample Manager) system management.
- Accountable for root cause(s) investigation and intime CAPA closure for laboratory equipment failure and result abnormalities.
- Responsible for internal ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS651 and ISO17025 audits and technical representative forISO17025 external audits.
- Responsible for implementation of Management of Change (MOC) policy for all the changes.
- Responsible for application of statistical methods and tools for comparison and performance verification. Monitor control charts to identify need for new standards or instrument maintenance.
- Support new method development and new equipment validation activities as required.
- Accountable for training and mentoring of Lab analysts, fostering skill enhancement and professional development.
- Other works as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a chemistry and relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in chemical laboratory of chemical/ Analytical Laboratory
Additional Information:
- To supervise and train lab staff on SM12.3 and ISO 17025 compliance
- Must be able to differentiate color for work purposes
- Will be required to work in the vicinity of chemicals and wear various PPE like chemical-clothing and respiratory masks.
- This role is required to work shift.
