Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Senior Regional Director for ASEAN, reporting to the VP, APAC and Japan Sales. You will be a key member of the APAC Leadership team and will manage the entire ASEAN Sales Organization. You will be motivated by an inspiring vision and ambition, with high growth. You will also have a customer-success mindset and act as a talent magnet to attract, lead, inspire and coach the team.

Plan and direct the implementation of business and people strategies that support meeting the function's important financial and non-financial goals. Drive policy and programme matters with executive staff recommending appropriate actions consistent with strategic and operating priorities of the Division. Working in a collaborative manner, you will implement improvements to the function, developing a plan that contributes to the success of the Division and Autodesk. You will develop the annual budget and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Responsibilities

  • Monitor effectiveness of policies to determine effectiveness. Recommend improvements to achieve andSets strategy for area. Build strategic sales and marketing programmes, including product launches, trade shows, developer conferences, channel development events, and customer seminars
  • Forecast sales and assigns quota responsibilities to sales managers. Achieve or exceed assigned revenue quotas including quarterly targets. Interface with sales teams to grow business and create revenue
  • Provide market analysis and feedback to corporate marketing and sales staff concerning market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities. Give guidance to product roadmaps. Participate in determining pricing strategy
  • Manage regional revenue and expense budgets. Be the final escalation in the authorization of discounts
  • May represent Autodesk at customer, reseller or industry events
  • Interact with executives and major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to our company
  • Responsible for management and development of resources (including consultants, vendors and remote workers, in different time zones). Provide leadership- building a team and growing talent
  • Responsible for selection, mentoring, performance management and assessment, and recognition. This includes team building with those from other units who participate on projects. Ensure performance management and recognition guidelines are followed within own team
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of Autodesk. Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for programmes, and people. Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements
  • May lead or sponsor or intra-divisional projects for client organisation or the Division, especially projects related to streamlining or improving processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15 + years of sales leadership experience with experience exceeding sales goals
  • Data analysis skills including Power BI and Salesforce.com to provide accurate forecasts and improve your business by using data.
  • Experience working with the Channel, Marketing, Customer Success and other key team members to achieve sales goals
  • At multiple levels and to work cross-organizationally towards solutions
