Our Client:
Our client is a Japanese manufacturing firm specializing in the conceptualization and production of automated machinery and conveyor systems. They are actively seeking for a Software & Control Engineer to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- He/She will be reporting to Managing Director
- Being part of the project team, your will conceptualize, design and will develop the Control Process and flow chart designs
- Understand customer requirements, design, and development work using C#, C++, VB, and PLC based programming software
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and engineering documentation using Solid works Electrical
- Document the requirements and prepare user manuals
- Work closely with customers on their requirements and be part of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Review and enhance software features and updates
- Any other ad hoc jobs assigned by Management
The Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree holder in Software/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in Factory Automation/ Material Handling and/or Conveyor Systems
- Possess 2 years’ experience in machine programming from scratch
- Experience in sourcing for electrical components and possess in-depth technical knowledge, including electrical diagrams and panel designs
- Proficient in SolidWorks and strong coding skills in C++, C# and Visual Basic
- Experienced in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Omron, Proface, or Keyence) and SCADA programming
- Willngness to work long hours in Cleanroom environment
- Proficiency in Japanese language to communicate with native Japanese-speaking customers and in Japan HQ
- Willingness to travel overseas within short notice, as and when required
