As a member of Group Human Resources, the incumbent will lead the portfolio of Group Recognition Awards under the guidance of the Manager, Group Scholarships and Awards. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that recognition awards are in line with the overall organizational objectives and direction, adequately acknowledging staff contributions at various levels - organizational, group, and national.
- Regularly assess the in-house recognition awards framework for its relevance and effectiveness, suggesting updates and adjustments as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in national-level recognition awards, collaborating with Ministries, other clusters, institutions, and relevant partners to ensure timely dissemination of information.
- Take charge of planning and executing the annual recognition awards cycle, including briefing institutions’ representatives, managing awards nominations, conducting preliminary reviews, and facilitating awards review panel meetings.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders regarding recognition awards framework, policies, and processes.
- Continuously improve awards nomination and administration processes to enhance efficiency.
- May lead or participate in organizing the annual awards ceremony.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in a Business Administration or Human Resources related discipline
- Minimally with 3-5 years of experience in a HR generalist or HR development related role
- Prior experience in managing scholarships and awards portfolio is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong in project management, planning and prioritization
- Meticulous and attentive to details
