Bid Specialist (Architectural)
Working Days: 5 Days (Monday – Friday)
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Office: Tanjong Pagar
Salary: $4000 - $6000
Job Description
- Find and pre-qualify tender opportunities in sites e.g. GeBIZ, Ariba, newspaper, websites.
- Preparing and reviewing bid documents, such as proposals, technical specifications, drawings, timeline schedules, budgets, etc.
- Coordinating and managing the bid submission process, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines; including post-submission follow ups
- Liaising and negotiating with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in the bidding process.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and clients.
- Assist in the development of strategic solutioning for the client in line with requirements of RFP/ Tender.
- Providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of the bidding process and performance.
- Work with corporate functions team to maintain the tender's database.
Requirement
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Quantity Survey, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience in bidding for government-related projects in the built environment. Candidate with more experience will be considered for senior role.
- Familiar with the process of government-related projects bids within the built environment; including tender submissions and evaluation.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of the local market, regulations, policies and procedures for government tenders and contracts will be an added advantage.
