Salary up to S$97,000 per annum
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee all treasury operations in Singapore and other Southeast Asian (SEA) markets, including managing cash, conducting foreign exchange transactions, and overseeing liquidity.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to optimize treasury strategies and mitigate risks.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions in the region to facilitate banking services and support treasury activities.
- Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for Asian subsidiaries, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
- Implement cash pooling structures and other techniques to optimize fund utilization within the region.
- Identify and evaluate financial risks related to currency exposure, interest rate fluctuations, and liquidity constraints.
- Prepare timely and accurate treasury reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics, liquidity positions, and risk exposures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing treasury activities in Asian jurisdictions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in treasury functions, with preference given to those with experience in the SEA market.
- Thorough understanding of financial markets, banking products, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration across functions and geographies.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for liaising with counterparts in China.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and achieving results in a dynamic environment.
