HR Assistant Manager / Manager

Responsibilities:
- First point of contact of Singapore employees and line managers on employment matters
- Liaise with overseas stakeholders to align policies/practices across countries
- Supervise junior HR team member (recruitment, payroll, administrative tasks)
- Conduct on-boarding/off-boarding for new hires and resignees
- Prepare and Review forms and letters (Contract, employment letters, etc)
- Dispute management (advise managers in accordance to company policies and employment act)
- Review existing policies and procedures, ensure up to date and relevant
- Promote staff engagement and Organise employee events and workshops
- Responsible for end-to-end Payroll - 100+ headcount
(Cross-check time attendance with operations roster and HR system- check discrepancies with line managers, etc)
- Manage company foreign quota and passes (application, renewals, cancellations)
- Source and review existing Insurance policies (Group health insurance, WICA/PL, D&O, etc)
- Work with finance team (Journal-entries, invoices, Audit, etc)
- Assist in bi-yearly performance and salary review
- Generate reports as requested by CFO and CEO
- Submission of CPF contributions, IR21, yearly tax filling for all employees
- Establish relationship with various schools and organisations (Internships, recruitment fairs, etc)
Job Requirements:
- 5-6 years of HR assistant/managerial experience in SME/start-up background (Ideally in a hospitality/F&B Industry)
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Well-versed with local employment laws, regulations, and practices
- Great written skills and able to converse with people of diverse level and cultural background
- Can-do attitude and an Independent worker
