Supply Chain Strategic Program Manager

The overall purpose of this position is to manage and drive Supply Chain Projects and initiatives to support business, assist in realising the Supply Chain 2025 vision and ensure best customer experience, through optimised processes.


Main Job functions:

  • Drives the execution of digital strategy / transformational projects across Life Science APAC Supply Chain.
  • Oversee and support ongoing and new APAC Supply chain projects.
  • Advance data-driven decision making within the Supply Chain function.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • At all times maintain a professional outlook and demonstrate respect, initiative and commitment towards your internal and external suppliers and customers and all Management and Staff.
  • Liaise closely with all internal departments in seeking or forwarding information vital to satisfy internal customer needs.
  • Liaise with other departments to gain the greatest insights for projects.
  • Actively continue to develop personal skills either internally within the company or externally on approved divisional training courses.
  • Develop objectives, strategies, and tactics to expand process efficiency.
  • Communicate to Management any information that you feel may be relevant to the Company’s objectives and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, technical, or management.
  • APICS Certification’s like CSCP, CPIM will be an advantage.
  • Black Belt or Green Belt and / or PMP Certification will also be an advantage.

Critical Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience, preferably in a strategic or supply chain & distribution role.
  • Experience with frequent visibility and interaction with senior level managers.
  • Strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical customer expectations of Life Science suppliers a plus.

Critical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Understanding of supply chain planning software applications, ERP’s and Analytical Tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with various disciplines within the business.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, problem solving, decision-making and influencing.
  • Good Time management skills.
