Responsibilities:
- Design and Creativity: Oversee projects from concept design and space planning to development and presentation, ensuring high-quality and creative outputs.
- Inspiration and Reference: Actively seek and share inspiration from external sources to support innovative design solutions.
- Concept Work: Produce high-standard concept work using hand sketches and various digital and traditional media, while guiding junior team members.
- Drawing Packages: Create and review drawing packages for schematic and detailed design stages.
- Presentations: Assemble presentations using digital and traditional media, especially PowerPoint.
- Client Meetings: Attend client meetings independently or with project leaders, leading or contributing to presentations.
- Research and Sourcing: Source reference materials and conduct research to ensure materials and products are suitable for use.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of markets, clients, and their competitors.
- Client Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with clients, identifying project opportunities independently.
- Business Development: Contribute to business development activities, including pitches, proposal writing, and presentations.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits independently, addressing any issues that arise.
- Site Measurement and Material Selection: Involve in site measurements, layout planning, and material selection.
- Project Communication: Lead project communication, liaising with design teams, clients, construction, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring meetings are well-documented.
- Fee Proposals: Prepare accurate and timely fee proposals for projects.
- Project Delivery: Ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Material Knowledge: Demonstrate proven knowledge of materials and their applications.
Qualifications:
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Corporate Office Interior Design.
- Personal Attributes: A dedicated and responsible individual with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Persuasive and influential, capable of acquiring the best value from vendors.
- Work Under Pressure: Ability to work rapidly and accurately under pressure.
- Teamwork: Operate effectively both independently and as part of a team.
