Responsibilities
- Work with Facilities Manager / Assistant Facilities Manager, Senior Manager, Site Engineers, Safety and Drafters for timely excution of project
- Manage and arrange site works with sub-contractors
- Coordinate and support drafting team and liaise with main contractors/ subcontractor/ site engineers on overall MEP services
- Prepare, check and review shop drawings
- Liaise with respective vendors/subcontractors for equipment/material submission approval and checking of submittal by vendors/ subcontractors before submission
- Attend all site meetings with owner, consultants and main contractors on all matters relating to project operation and coordination
- Conduct periodic safety inspection and attend WSH meeting
- Identify and resolve technical problems
- Supervise site works to achieve good quality and progress
- Identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive/ remedial actions
- Check, evaluate and monitor subcontract site work progress
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned
Requirements
- Candidate must posses at least a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in Singapore M&E construction industry
- Must have good knowledge of mechanical installation- Piping, Ducting, Fire Protection & Plumbing & Sanitary installation
- Knowledge/ Understanding of building code of practices in Singapore
- Knowledge/ Understanding of BCA greenmark requirements
- Knowledge in BIM/Naviswork
- Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course (BCSS) certificate required
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
- Teamwork, good communication skills, self motivated and is able to work under pressure
