- Contribute to designing and validating a variety of automation systems, spanning BMS, EMS, Historian, DCS, MES, LIMS, and process equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards through Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification processes.
- Serve as the main contact and subject matter expert for designated automation systems within the supported business function, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
- Develop and create GMP documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to meet regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Utilize experience in configuring and programming automation systems, covering aspects such as Configuration Modules (CMs), Equipment Modules (EMs), Unit Classes, Recipes, Controllers, and Graphics.
- Optimize data flow across integration points within computerized systems, enhancing connectivity hierarchies to facilitate seamless operations.
- Assume responsibilities as a system administrator for automation-related tasks in manufacturing activities, encompassing user management, backup recovery, time synchronization, and audit trail maintenance.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot automation-related issues in GMP operations, actively participating in activities such as Non-Conformance (NC), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), root cause analysis, and automation Change Control Management.
- Engage in digitalization initiatives, contributing to system integration, validation methodologies, and manufacturing process optimization efforts.
- Offer secondary support for IT infrastructure matters, overseeing service providers in operational tasks and facilitating future cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
- Manage the deployment and operation of outsourced cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and security across operations.
skills and experience required
Minimum 6 years of Automation Systems experience, adept at leading large projects and implementing IT infrastructures across varied technologies. Demonstrated proficiency in IT lab systems for both R&D and GMP operations, including LIMS, OSI PI, MES, DCS, and warehouse data systems.
