- Underwrite general insurance business in accordance with the company's underwriting guidelines and treaty terms. Maintain underwriting discipline and conduct risk assessments for Personal and Commercial Lines products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Distribution & Marketing team to ensure the achievement of service delivery and production targets.
- Assist in developing and continuously reviewing the company's underwriting guidelines to ensure alignment with our underwriting philosophy. Support new product launches and corporate initiatives by establishing appropriate underwriting guidelines for these initiatives.
- Support the monthly renewal review process for Motor and Non-Motor lines, obtaining necessary approvals before sending out renewal notices.
- Collaborate with the Claims team to minimize claims. Conduct regular risk and portfolio reviews, including post-claims underwriting, and prepare other reports for management.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Business Management/Actuarial Science plus at least a diploma in insurance
- At least 3 years of experience in motor insurance
