MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Mechanical Engineer in the Power Team will undertake gas turbine power plants and renewable energy-related consulting assignments in Asia.
- Size, design, and review the mechanical system for power and renewable energy-related projects.
- Prepare design specifications and interface with clients, providing technical advice on all aspects of power plant development, including configuration options, prime equipment selection, BoP systems & components, enabling infrastructure, and considerations for project implementation.
- Support clients technically through project feasibility, project appraisal, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor design review and engineering, project construction, commissioning, and performance testing.
- Support proposal development, drawing on the company’s regional and international network of support experts where needed.
- Manage project technical delivery requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical/process engineer in the power sector, ideally developed within a plant/system design role or professional services/consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of anyone or multiple sectors in gas turbine power plant, renewables energy (Solar, wind Waste to Energy, and BESS), the key technologies & components, and project lifecycle considerations.
- Experience working with public and private sector clients in the Asia region.
- Process knowledge is desirable for waste-to-energy.
