RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Project Engineer’s key responsibilities are:
- To assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure proposals and project accuracy and quality.
- Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and is primary interface with clients.
- Work with multiple discipline proposals, projects and demonstrate excellent project management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Collaborate with cost and schedule engineer for schedule estimates, progress monitoring and reporting, cost forecast, resource loading and planning.
- Interface with vendors/suppliers for budgetary quotes, vendor design deliverables including reviews and final approvals by client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in project development and engineering, consulting, FEED/EPC preferably in Energy industry.
- Possesses a demonstrated proficiency in project engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of MS PROJECT / Primavera Project Management (P6) is preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must also possess effective interpersonal skills.
- Must consistently demonstrate strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized and self-motivated.
- Can efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while working on multiple proposals and projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Must have delivery focussed approach, must take ownership, and drive the activities for closure as per client expectations.
- Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
- Proactive & resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
- Independent contributor who can work well with minimal supervision.
