Summary
- IT Fleet Support Expert will integrate the IT Operation Department.
- She / He will be part of the Fleet IT support team and is the person accountable of IT operations and delivery of IT services to the vessels.
- This expert must cover all IT system from the workplace to the Network including servers.
- She / He will be more particularly expected on projects of the new IT solution implementation for our new vessels.
- In direct link with the cyber and SOC teams, She / He will be also main actor of Ship threats and vulnerabilities management in order to secure all fleet end points.
- She / He participates as an expert in Disaster Recovery exercises to ensure IMO 2021 Cyber Security preparedness.
- This role be part of the IT Fleet support team and will report to the Manager of this team (France).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support Level 1, 2 and 3 for vessel applications and IT Systems.
- Manage day to day production activities & shipboard IT projects implementation in line with IT Governance Standards and Cyber Security guidelines.
- Ensure the good IT systems implementation and maintenance as per Fleet IT Security policies and Cyber Security guidelines onboard vessels.
- Deploy and implement IT Systems and Vessel Applications.
- Coordinate maintenance services on board though various service suppliers
- Liaise with different IT teams
- Participate to the road map build and define the group target
- Provide process for industrialization, monitoring, backup / recovery and security
- Create, maintain documentation & procedure (Shipboard software, systems maintenance, industry)
- Local IT asset management
Skills & Qualifications
- General IT knowledge (Backup, AntiVirus, Anti-malware, PCs)
- Strong knowledge Workplace, Network and Infrastructure
- Windows configurations
- Knowledge on Maritime IT would be appreciated
- Knowledge on IMO 2021 & Cyber risk would be appreciated
- IT Project management
- Good Leadership with experience in multi country
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Knowing how to be accountable of topic from the end to end
- Strong skills in communication
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people at different levels
- Knowledge or at least appetence for Digital & Technologies
- Already similar position in an international company

- This position also requires great availability and can need some 24/7 actions
- Occasional ship-boarding may be required
