We are representing our client, a large IT solution provider, to look for an experienced Network Engineer to manage, oversee and lead the daily operations of the IT Network Security.
Responsibilities
- Manage, oversee and lead the daily operations of the IT Network Security.
- Provide day-to-day support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving service incidents on the network and security issue, KPI to be based on SLA standards for customers under coverage
- Proper case management and handling, from acceptance to closure, upon acceptance of assigned support cases
- Proactivity monitoring, support and troubleshoot network bandwidth capacity and network performance to ensure uninterrupted services.
- Experience and good knowledge in security technologies, including firewall, IDS & IPS, VPN, MPLS, BGP, etc.
- Perform appliance upgrades and migration to ensure solutions and or related platform are maintained in operational conditions with proper documentation.
- Providing on-call support, including the ability to work a flexible off-hours schedule for planned/unplanned maintenance, as needed.
- Coordinate and manage local and regional ISP on maintenance, changes, and implementation of WAN (Internet).
- Assign to projects to implement related network products, day 1 and 2 support perspectives.
- Require to attend product and support training in respect to the work requirement.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or related fields.
- Possess 3-5 years' IT experience in providing IT support to end-users.
- Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SharePoint capabilities, configuration, administration and its out-of-the-box features.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Understanding the of Microsoft SharePoint Online components. Ability to crate and modify master pages, page layouts and custom workflows.
- Basic Support of Network Switches.
- Basic Support of Security Equipment.
- Candidate would be required to support with IT related issued (when required) during weekends and public holiday.
