Asst. Manager/Manager - Credit Planning

Job Description:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of credit portfolios to assess performance, identify trends, and evaluate risk exposure.
• Utilize data insights to make informed decisions and recommend adjustments to credit strategies as needed.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and enforcement of credit policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive credit planning initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide analytical support and insights to credit decision-making processes, including underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.
• Utilize quantitative models and tools to assess creditworthiness and recommend appropriate actions.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience with credit policy development and analytics from banking / financial institutions, preferably with experience in maintaining Decision Engines is an added advantage.
• Strong in business and credit risk analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and dealing effectively with demanding business partners
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good and balanced business acumen.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Proficiency in data analysis and business management software.
• Excellent Leadership characteristic and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
• Successful candidate will be base at Subang Jaya office. Please take note that we are expecting to relocate our office location to Cheras Maluri area tentatively by early next year 2025.
