The successful candidate will drive the implementation of the various Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability strategy, delivering the strategy throughout the various Sales companies within the region.
Job Description
- Lead, support and provide guidance to EHS resources within SEA region – focusing on developing and sustaining Health and Safety culture.
- Develop and conduct training of EHS training materials, toolbox talks materials, safety moments, safety videos etc.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and processes to assist directors, managers and staff to manage EHS effectively in their businesses across the region. Aligned with group policies as a minimum.
- Provide guidance to the businesses within the region to achieve or maintain certification of ISO 45001, ISO 50001 & 14001 standards.
- Represent SEA as the champion for Sustainability activities, initiatives and guide SEA sales companies to achieve Group and Division Sustainability goals.
- Support the Singapore office in maintaining business assurance certifications (ISO and BizSafe). Ensure document change, CAPA, internal audits, management review, external audits are performed on time. Act as the Lead Internal Auditor for Singapore office.
- Ensure compliance to Health and Safety (Disease Control) Management Measures defined by Group/Country.
- Represent SEA as the champion for Sustainability activities, initiatives and guide SEA sales companies to achieve Group and Division Sustainability goals.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager
Job Requirements
- A relevant health safety and environmental qualification with at least 8 years of relevant experience supporting the SEA region
- Demonstrable experience managing EHS in a multi stakeholder matrix organisation for the sales, and service field engineering team in the manufacturing or field service sectors
- Experience of formulating strategy and policies and engaging business in any relevant changes
- An overall understanding of Sustainbility Management is desirable
