Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Marine Spare Parts & Machinery Stockist
  • Position Title: Marine Service Manager
  • Working Location: West – Gul Circle
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon-Fri: 8 am-6 pm, every Sat: 8 am-1 pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to SGD 7000 + Bonus + On-site allowance
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Service Engineers & Technician and supervise the overhauling & commissioning of Engine & other aux equipment
  • Work in Anchorage, Off-port limits, shipyard, onboard vessel on voyage repair
  • Work with contractors for jobs that have to be outsourced
  • Prepare service and calibration reports of the work activities
  • Able to advise and recommend to the Technical Superintendent and Chief Engineer on faults/defects and operation of the machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's specification
  • Provide technical support and deliver high-quality service standards to satisfaction of customers
  • Carry out a risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practices and regulations onboard vessels & in the workshop
  • Conduct daily toolbox meeting
  • Responsible for continual improvement in the Service Department

  • Min. Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
  • Min. 5 years of working experience in the Marine industry
  • Must have Hands-on experience on 2 & 4 stroke engines, purifiers, pumps, and air compressors
  • Those with sailing experience are welcome
  • Highly organized person who can work with tight schedules to cater to the different arrival times of ships
  • Juggling the demands of paperwork and on-site work, and coping with tight work schedules and unanticipated events
