Logistics managers organise and monitor the storage and distribution of goods. This role entails managing event operations and requires key skills such as leadership, budgeting and organisation. Resolving problems regarding transportation, imports and exports and customer issues. Developing risk management strategies. Liaising with other departments to coordinate the efficient distribution of goods.
Duties & Responsbilities
- Manage activities of the event operations
- Daily planning and controlling of manpower, material, equipment and warehouse space
- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse personnel
- Inspect and ensure all goods are in proper condition and correct order/ specification prior to receiving
- Liaise with delivery companies for location and time of delivery
- Liaise with subcon on proper document to prepare before deliver
- Maintain reliable and accurate stock records in company's ERP system
- Responsible for proper storage of materials
- Perform monthly stock take
- Keeping records of all serviceable, testing, calibration items and ensure all are valid.
- Ensure safety and housekeeping in the warehouse

Able to work in fast pace environment
- Ensure all suppliers DO and store DO is updated into the system before account closing.
- Other ad hoc warehouse / logistics related duties as assigned.
