Job description
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be the Finance business partner to various functions of the utilities business in Singapore.
Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Support and liaison with operations, maintenance and commercial functions of the utilities business
- Perform monthly and ad-hoc management reporting, including analysis of operations and commercial drivers to financial results
- Perform annual budget and monthly financial forecast from planning to delivery
- Track financial results between actuals, budget, historical and forecast
- Support ad-hoc requests of financial data of various dimensions
- Contribute to digital systems implementation, including requirements definition and development of content
Requirements and attributes
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience with strong understanding of full set of accounts
- Interest in utilities plant operations
- Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem solving and execution capability
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly, meeting tight deadlines
- Team player who can work independently
- Good knowledge in accounting related systems, preferably SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
