Our client, the world’s largest geotechnical specialist contractor, is looking for a business development Managerfor their Singapore office. 5 days work/week with 21 days annual leave, our client pays performance bonuses annually.
about the job
- Bring onboard new clients, projects and reach targets that hit defined sales and profitability goals
- Gather market intelligence, develop client network, and foster strong client relationships
- Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive landscape
- Review of bid proposal from tender team and make decision in consultation with director
- Serve as Bid Manager for large size projects
- Lead negotiation with client on bid and contract terms & conditions
- Develop and protect company’s brand, corporate image, and reputation
skills & experience required
- Master / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Min 6 years’ experience in a geotechnical design role in the construction industry (ideally Ground Improvement works)
- Experience with PLAXIS will be advantageous.
- Keen to pursue sales / business development position
- Willing to work in west of Singapore ( Jurong / Boon Lay / Pioneer)
