Primary Function:

  • An essential objective of Core Diagnostics’ end-to-end solution approach is to enhance the clinical performance of the laboratory. Immunoassays and specific digital health solution enablers are important components of the Abbott portfolio that contribute to it.
  • The primary focus of this role is to develop and execute marketing strategies and programs to create demand with the components mentioned above to gain significant share.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive initiatives that will facilitate faster penetration and higher usage of specific immunoassays including launches
  • Increase footprint of digital health enablers that enhance clinical performance including clinical decision support systems
  • Build reference sites and develop KOLs and advocates
  • Support development of proof points that show the clinical value outside the lab
  • Develop/manage all relevant marketing/ad-promo materials targeting both in-lab and outside-the-lab-stakeholders
  • Monitor competition and develop appropriate responses
  • Drive other marketing programs as needed for differentiating Abbott solutions
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with ideally 5 years of marketing experience in diagnostics/healthcare industry
  • Prior experience in diagnostics/lab environment preferred
  • Strong team player
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to travel for up to 30% of the time
  • Strategic thinking skills and customer driven
  • Results driven individual who challenges the status quo
