Job Description:
We are seeking dynamic and customer-oriented Mooncake Sales Promoters to join our team during this festive season. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of delicious mooncakes to customers at our booths located at Takashimaya Event Centre and VivoCity from 15 August - 18 September 2024.
Your primary objective will be to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold the brand image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote mooncakes to potential customers by engaging them in product demonstrations and providing information about our assortment of flavors, ingredients, and special offers.
- Assist customers in making informed purchase decisions by offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences and dietary requirements.
- Create visually appealing displays of mooncakes within the sales area to attract customer attention and stimulate interest in our products.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales environment, including arranging product samples, signage, and promotional materials.
- Proactively approach customers, greet them warmly, and actively listen to their inquiries or concerns, providing courteous and knowledgeable assistance.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card payments, and issuing receipts. (training will be provided)
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to ensure availability of products throughout the sales period.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the food industry, is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong sales acumen and ability to persuade and influence customer purchasing decisions.
- Demonstrated passion for food and willingness to learn about different mooncake varieties and cultural significance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Ability to work retail hours (10am to 10pm) including weekends and public holidays.
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Mandarin or Cantonese, may be beneficial in serving diverse customer demographics.
