- Collaborating with a diverse team: Work closely with colleagues in Finance Operations and Finance Change Delivery to ensure smooth project execution and data quality within the general ledger.
- Providing project support: Assist in defining and reviewing requirements for Finance Change Delivery projects, leveraging your knowledge of cash management and interbank fund transfers.
- Implementing controls: Contribute to the implementation of end-user controls and collaborate with Group, Regional, and other stakeholders to support key processes within Finance.
- Supporting the Finance team: Offer guidance and support on a wide range of finance-related issues, ensuring efficient operations.
- Risk management: Collaborate with the Finance Management team to understand and support Assurance Reviews, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key controls.
- Transformation projects: Utilize your understanding of end-to-end insurance finance functions to support ongoing transformation initiatives and product launches.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- A background in Finance, preferably with experience in finance operations.
- A strong understanding of cash management principles.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations (not mandatory).
- Knowledge of the relevant internal risk management framework, including operational risk policies, SOX framework, and the regulatory environment in the financial services sector.
- The ability to analyze problems, provide solutions, and challenge information to reach mutually agreeable outcomes.
- Excellent multitasking and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
