The position
By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:
- Act in compliance with Equinor’s shipping policy and procedures and Charter Party requirements.
- Operate, schedule and optimize Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) shipments in compliance with Equinor’s HSE and Standards.
- Managing close communication with suppliers, customers, terminals, and our service providers.
- Collaborate with Equinor’s headquarters, regional locations and traders for operational decisions and working towards Global Operating Model.
- Contribute to improve processes and best practices to support our trading strategy.
- Ensure value add and commercial optimization throughout the deal life cycle for the LNG bench.
- Be responsible for proper documentation, correct and timely inputs of operational information into relevant IT systems.
- Participate in the Duty Phone setup on rotation.
You

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Maritime, Economics, Logistics or related disciplines.
- Extensive experience in handling LNG cargo shipments preferably from an energy, Oil & Gas or Trading company. Prior experience of trading operations in other commodities is an advantage.
- Strong commercial knowledge and experience in cargo operations, including technical understanding of managing Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) shipments, operating an oil terminal, managing Ship to Ship (STS) operations, etc.
- Established good networking and commercial relationships with counterparts in the LNG industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience from East of Suez incl. the Asian markets is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with a record of a value adding approach.
- Adept at multi-tasking in a dynamic commercial environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using IT technology, IMOS shipping system.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
