Project Overview:
The project aims to empower the sales team with the technical expertise and resources required to effectively sell our product. Through the development of comprehensive sales enablement materials and targeted training programs, we will equip our sales force to confidently engage customers, address technical inquiries, and ultimately close more deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Assist with evaluations and system configurations.
- Presentations and Demos: Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations and demos.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as an advocate for our customers, providing feedback to R&D and product management.
- Advisory Role: Serve as a technical adviser to customers, periodically reviewing their status and suggesting possible improvements.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop deep expertise on the company's product and its ecosystem.
- RFP/RFQ/RFI Responses: Contribute to or lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Documentation: Help create and maintain Q&A’s, best practices, and other technical documentation.
Deliverables:
- Centralized Repository: Creation of a centralized repository for all technical product information, including features, functionalities, use cases, and competitive differentiators.
- Sales Presentations: Development of compelling and informative sales presentations tailored to specific customer segments and needs.
- Training Program: Implementation of a comprehensive training program designed to enhance the sales team's technical understanding of the product and its applications.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the product, including its features, functionalities, capabilities, and limitations.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with the technical aspects of the industry, including knowledge of specific technologies, software, or hardware related to the product.
- Sales Cycle Understanding: Understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to effectively navigate each stage, from prospecting and qualification to closing deals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience, including tailoring communication to different customer types.
