Job Overview:
As we explore the nuanced markets of Singapore and Japan, your role becomes pivotal. Guiding the company through new opportunities in the Singaporean market, your expertise in marketing and customer management will be essential for a successful transition as we introduce new products or services.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Create and execute business strategies to achieve organizational objectives and drive growth. Adapt to market dynamics and industry trends, especially in retail & cosmetics industry.
· Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Manage various functions, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources. Ensure efficient operations and alignment with company goals.
· Lead and Motivate Teams: Inspire a diverse team to achieve high performance and productivity. Foster collaboration and maintain a positive work environment.
· Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Monitor financial health and cash flow. All management updates must be done to Japan HQ regularly in Japam.
· Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with partners, stakeholders, and shareholders.
· Risk Assessment and Crisis Management: Assess and manage risks to the company’s financial and operational health. Handle crisis situations and complex problems effectively.
・Supplier and products QA review: To be responsible for final review toward relevant markets. Our products are all made in Japan and all labelling, specifications are regulated and cleared in Japanese.
Key Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business of Administrative Management or economics related.
· Minimum of 5 years of working experience in integrated management, especially in marketing fields familiar with Japanese company culture.
· [Language] Japanese: Native Level (Due to Internal Reporting to HQ will be done in Japanese as well as Products are all made, labelled, and tested in Japan. 80%+ B2B customers are from Japan), English: Business Level.
· Proven successful cases in the marketing and customer experience.
· Deep knowledge of fast changing in cosmetics products and industry.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills in business planning.
· Thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions.
· Willingness to travel time to time.
