Job Description:
•Develop ROS 2 packages (in C++ and python) and enhance features of existing packages
•Work with other robotics engineers to integrate and test various packages and serve as a point of support and stability in the team.
•Handle release of new versions of packages
•Design, develop and Implement IoT applications, Robotic Applications, Process Control Applications
•Design embedded software to be used within automated and AI system
•Test and commission of the robotic systems
•Conduct research, document findings, and present reports at meetings
•Develop technical design documents for IoT applications, robotic applications, process control applications and final products
•Identify areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements for Robotics Integration Engineer:
•Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Computer/ Mechatronics Engineering or related field
•At least 4 years of experience developing custom ROS/ROS 2 software for production-grade robots
•Have some experience with simulation and debugging tools such as Gazebo, Rviz, rqt
•You possess sufficient knowledge related to inverse kinematics, path planning, SLAM and control theory
•A strong software engineering background working with multiple robotics platform
•Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills
•Ability to work in a team or independently
•a proactive attitude towards self-improvement, learning, and problem solving
•Experience in industrial setting is an advantage
•Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment
•Good communication skills for both written and verbal English
