Duties & Responsibilities:
- The General Manager with his/her vast experience and knowledge, shall provide professional guidance and inputs to the company from the conceptual stage to the design, tender, execution and completion of project.
- He/She shall be part of the top management team in the decision-making on corporate strategy in the tender process and be competitive in securing new projects for the company.
- It would be a great advantage if he/she possesses some specialised knowledge and experience with Factory projects in Japan, Singapore and in countries in the Asia Region.
- He/She shall report to the Japan Head Office.
Requirements:
- Should possess professional qualifications recognised by the PEB/BOA and a minimum qualification of Degree/Masters in Engineering or Architecture or equivalent qualification.
- Should have at least 30 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and a minimum of 11 years’ experience in Senior Management role.
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese would be an advantage as he/she has to constantly communicate and collaborate with the Japan Head Office including filing of progress reports.
