The Digital Marketing Intern will support the Digital Marketing Manager in engaging our employees and stakeholders through our own digital channels and marketing events. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our marketing department. As part of the internship, you will acquire marketing skills and knowledge of various marketing strategies to prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Job responsibilities:
· Project management in professional education events planning and promotion
· Corporate brand management and support in digital marketing initiatives
· Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral
· Work closely with designers in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
· Work closely with designers to maintain our website
· Work closely with cross-functional divisions in working on marketing collaterals
· Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
· Measure, analyse and report the results of marketing initiatives, social media and website
· Support any other ad-hoc activities
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in study related course such as business or marketing/communication courses. Students in science courses who demonstrate strong understanding and interest in marketing are welcomed.
• The ideal candidate must have strong interest in marketing and curiosity in our business
• The intern should also possess strong MS Office skills including Excel, primarily used for data collation and analysis
• Creative skills such as Photoshop and Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles are a plus
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media (e.g LinkedIn, Youtube, Instagram), email marketing (e.g MailChimp, Jotforms, WordPress etc.) and analytics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and draw insights
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
Note: This is a paid internship, 5 days a week, standard hours.
