Responsibilities:
- Orient patients to their assigned beds and facilities.
- Answer patient calls and communicate their requests to the appropriate department.
- Attend to patients' basic needs, such as helping with toilet baths, bed sponging, serving meals and drinks, and assisting with feeding.
- Conduct rounds with bedpans and urinals; change patients' diapers as needed.
- Assist patients in walking to the toilet and provide support in the restroom.
- Monitor restless patients to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Chaperone female patients when necessary.
- Clean up spillages, discharges, vomit bowls, and urinals promptly.
- Keep beds, lockers, and non-patient rooms (e.g., storerooms) tidy and clean.
- Help with the inventory of linens and department items like flasks, pillows, and bedpans.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department-in-charge.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in healthcare is a plus.
- Comfortable with working staggered shifts (morning and afternoon).
