We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:
- Kitchen Cleaning: Thoroughly clean all kitchen areas, equipment, and the chiller room.
- Dishwashing: Wash all soiled crockery, utensils, food warmer carts, and GN trolleys in the dishwashing area.
- Ward Crockery Washing: Clean all crockery from the wards, including cups and water jugs.
- Meal Delivery: Deliver meals to patients and staff in the Urgent Care Centre (UCC), Ambulatory Surgery Centre (ASC), Day Surgery, Endoscopy, clinics, inpatient wards, and any other required service areas.
- Crockery Management: Manage the stock of crockery in the kitchen, including packing cutlery.
- Waste Management: Handle waste disposal and manage carton boxes, including the provision of bins.
- Tray Collection: Collect soiled patient meal trays from wards that did not return to the food warmer carts.
