The Security Supervisor, SG (SS) will be the focal point for all security related activities and incident response for Dyson’s premises and operations within SG. The position support/lead the Security Operations Team (including all security workforce) in securing all Dyson’s premises within SG that includes all research and development, manufacturing, and corporate offices. The role will necessarily require the individual to actively monitor emerging and existing threats to the business and to realise Group Security strategic programs and processes within SG to mitigate those threats. The SS also coordinates support, whenever necessary, from other areas of Dyson Group Security (including Security Training, Insider Risk, Information Security, Profit Protection and Technical Security).
The qualified candidate will report directly to the Senior Security Specialist, SG.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure the implementation of Dyson Security Standards across all sites in Singapore.
- Coordinate badge access to guard against unauthorized intrusion into Dyson premises.
- Access control management to handle pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
- Conduct monitoring using installed surveillance systems.
- Ensure all security officers on site are on duty post and relief schedules.
- Make changes to duty assignments based on operational or business needs.
- Deliver appropriate support security service or support to other functional groups using security standard process as guide.
- Participate in the development of global security policies.
- Conduct basic physical risk assessments/audits on an annual basis (or as required) and in alignment with Dyson Group Security Standards.
- Supervise and ensure implementation and maintenance of a security personnel training programme.
- Maintain security systems and equipment to ensure effective operational resilience in the protection of Dyson assets and ensure accurate reporting of malfunction for timely repair/replacement.
- Coordinate general and emergency communication systems to include management of the Security Control Centre.
- Duties may vary and not limited to the above.

Qualifications and experience:
- Demonstrable experience of operating effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Subject matter expertise in physical security systems and technology, to include surveillance/detection systems, access control systems, control room environments, alarm monitoring, counter surveillance, drone technology, radio procedures.
- Proven experience with intellectual asset protection / security related area.
- Demonstrable work experience in global, multi-national organization.
- Security service knowledge with hands-on experiences.
- Proven experience in Security service management in a large-scale facility (Minimum 5 years of experience in related field).
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Able to perform shift work, work on weekends and public holidays when required.
- Skills for setting up standard operation procedures.
- Experience for security control in VIP visiting, large scale ceremony and events.
