We are building a specialized, driven, and experienced team in Singapore to enable its subsidiaries in the global business division to scale and thrive, as these businesses enter emerging and frontier markets with innovative strategies to expand.
About the Role
We are seeking for a finance professional who is well-rounded in all aspects of financial functions specifically in financial reporting, management reporting and FPA, finance operations, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs))
• Assist in the monthly financial close process and quarterly reporting to CS Tokyo and ensuring the process is done on a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in the annual external and internal audit process, publishing the financial statements and ensuring XBRL and corporate tax filing are done on a timely and accurate manner.
• Analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue and assisting in developing templates to manage the income statement, balance sheet and cashflow forecast.
• Business partnership towards strategic planning and analysis discussions, familiar with IFRS and be able to advise business partners of the financial impact of business decision and work with corporate development team to evaluate the accounting impact of new acquisition or any corporate activities.
• Assist in the quarterly Fair Market Value movements in the investments of Saison Capital Pte Ltd, the corporate venture capital arm of SI.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reporting slides and reports.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
• Degree in Accountancy with professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA).
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant finance operations and FPA experience.
• Solid working experience in financial reporting and accounting policies, as well as management reporting and FPA.
• Relevant experience in managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P and GL.
• Familiarity with Oracle Navision is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
