Purpose

We are looking for a Supply Chain Management Executive to join our fast growing regional team based in Singapore. You will be responsible for supporting our outsource partners (CM) to provide a better result and operational excellence. As a passionate Supply Chain Management Executive, you will be empowered to automate the reports of inventory and Open PO (internal and external CM).


Job Summary

This position of Supply Chain Executive is responsible to analyze materials status of the China Contract Manufacturer (CM), Southeast Asia CM and EU CM, and monitor materials fulfilment to meet sale orders demand and forecast demand. Manage site inventory and Purchase Order (PO) to suppliers to avoid excess stock under EDMI liability and make sure CM stock and Open PO with Suppliers (OPO) are able to cover the demand according to supply lead time. Release PO to suppliers on behalf of external factory where necessary, manage delivery or PO supersede by CM, arrange allocation and shipment to CM. Close monitoring of supplies/CM on the critical components supply schedule, manage CM proactively sourcing for alternative source of supply (in case of short supply from existing suppliers) to ensure continuity of production. Manage inventory and reports to management regularly. The Supply Chain Executive is also responsible to establish effective communication channels with site purchasing and resolve whenever there are any issues arising from materials supply from approved suppliers.


This position is also responsible to develop related operations flow and document it as standard operating procedures for the internal and outsourcing supply chain process.


Capable to resolve/escalate issues from factories to the correct channel to have the issues closed. Build and maintain good relationships with factories and perform as functional bridge between outsource partners and the internal stakeholders to achieve the corporate targets.


Job Responsibilities

• Visualize and analyze factories materials fulfilment status.

• Review advance buy or risk buy of long lead time materials and propose to management for approval.

• Coordinate with Procurement on Purchase Info Records (PIR) in system to allow PO to release from system.

• Plan and execute procurement of raw materials from global suppliers.

• Review PO shipping term and storage location.

• Issue PO of approved advance buy or risk buy.

• Maintain strong working relationship and communication with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries.

• Work with factory purchasing priority to purchase from EDMI of the long lead time materials purchased by EDMI on behalf of CM.

• Review supplier schedules and manage PO to be superseded by CM or storage in EDMI appointed premises. Require to communicate with suppliers and factory purchasers.

• Arrange and track shipment from EDMI storage premises to CM.

• Review factory order/forecast demand. Track EDMI open PO and inventory, and make sure it is depleted by factory.

• Managing the holding stock in factories to keep lean inventory level.

• Review and report inventory projection.

• Review CM materials purchasing fulfilment (full turn keys).

• Build and maintain good relationship with CM and perform as a functional bridge between CM and the internal stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot CM issues relating to materials status and escalate to the respective stakeholders.

• Age inventory analysis and disposition.

• Make recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency of supply chain activities.

• Preparing management reports.

• Complete special projects and assignments as requested.


Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning/Supply chain area in the electronics manufacturing field.

• Thorough understanding of the Supply Chain and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities. Prefer SAP knowledge.

• Good organization and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks with strict deadlines and handling multiple tasks at the same time.

• Possess good customer service and agility for handling a wide range of activities.

• Demonstrates time management and leadership skills.

• Using logic and reasoning to offer solutions to problems.

• Good in using Excel analytical skill, and good knowledge in Power BI will be advantageous.
