Senior Account Executive, Client Acquisition
Meltwater’s Account Executive team is a group of passionate and results oriented professionals who develop new business opportunities and celebrate sales wins! When you join our team as a Senior Account Executive , you would pursue new logo opportunities and sell Meltwater’s world-class Media Monitoring and Social listening solutions to prospective clients. You will be a self-starter who can source a strong pipeline of business to exceed your targets and grow Meltwater revenue.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct full cycle sales development activities including lead generation and qualification, run client calls & product demos, overcome objectives, lead proposals and handle negotiation
- Understand our client's business and industry challenges and guide our clients on Meltwater’s value and how our world-class platform can optimise their business strategy
- Be informed of product developments and industry trends
- Partner with management on sales forecasts, opportunity identification, resolving challenges and providing recommendations
- Exceed your quarterly targets - Pipeline, revenue and activity
Who You Are:
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets
- 5 + years of successful B2B sales (preferably in a SaaS environment)
- You have drive, stamina and the ambition to achieve.
- Experience working with a business development representative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you are clear and concise
- Ability to negotiate with senior level clients
- Ability to work to monthly and quarterly targets in a high-pressure environment
