As a Logistics Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing all logistics processes while leading a team of warehouse supervisor and assistants. Your leadership will ensure our products are delivered on time and our warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including storage, distribution, and transportation activities
- Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse supervisor and assistants
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations concerning warehousing, shipping and transportation
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate logistics with overall business systems and processes
- Monitor and manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and adequacy of supply
- Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Evaluate and report on logistics performance and implement enhancement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
