Role Description:
We are in search of a Public Relations Executive to join our rapidly expanding Chagee team. You will be part of the Southeast Asia PR team responsible for driving growth in Chagee’s share of voice in the region, building brand awareness, and brand reputation. The role will be based in Singapore. Work travel to other countries will be expected.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the SEA PR team to develop and execute PR media plans which consist of development, consumer, business finance, national media aligned with the Company’s goals and objectives within the South East Asian (SEA) region
- Identify key stakeholders and cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, KOLs, agencies and other relevant parties across SEA
- Create and disseminate engaging press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to promote brand awareness and positive brand storytelling across SEA
- Assist in the development of crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and mitigate potential PR crises across SEA
- Address any negative publicity or reputational issues, while safeguarding the brand’s integrity and reputation with effective communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media content, etc
- Support in the planning and execution of PR events, including product launches, press conferences, media briefings, and promotional activities across SEA
- Coordinate logistics, invitations, and media coverage to ensure successful events that enhance brand visibility and reputation
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years in PR communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in PR management are a plus
- Proven PR and communications experience in an agency or similar role, with a focus on the South East Asian market on Consumer PR is preferred
- Autonomous, motivated and ambitious self-starter able to juggle effectively & take ownership of projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage with diverse audiences
- Excellent writing, editorial, grammar and verbal communication skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with PR and media experience
- Experience in crisis communications, backed by quick ability to understand business issues, have the tenacity to craft clear and sharp messages, FAQs and responses in crisis situation
- Eager to learn, resilient under pressure, and respond effectively to challenging situations
- A creative mind and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to PR opportunities and challenges
- Proficient in Mandarin, both written and spoken to communicate with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
