We are looking for an engineer that can support the company in front-end lithography processing and master mold fabrication that can be used for both nanoimprint lithography and injection-molding processes. As a new hire, you will be assisting our engineering team in design, fabrication, manufacturing and assembly of parts as well as troubleshooting and optimization to improve established processes to attain higher productivity and quality of manufactured components for customers. You will also be exposed to meetings with industry partners, and if need be, engage in short discussion and presentations. You can demonstrate your technical skills and contribute to the research, design, development of systems to aid in manufacturing processes. Personnel to have strong core foundation in mechanical engineering, in order to oversee manufacturing operations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hands-on fabrication (training provided)
- Systems hardware design, integration and control using programming languges.
- GUI design and build
- Troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing procedures
- Provide product design for manufacturing to team on new project quotation
- Coordinate in tooling, parts troubleshooting and provide engineering changes if necessary
- Attend meetings with industry partners, and if need be, engage in short discussion and presentations
- CAD drawing of injection mold inserts using Solidworks or other software
Basic proficiency in 3D CAD (any of the following)
– Solidworks
– AutoCAD
– Fusion360
Programming (beneficial but not necessary)
– C/C++
– R/MATLAB
– Python
Core IT literacy
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
– Information sharing & drafting platforms (Google Docs/ Microsoft Teams/Dropbox)
