- Salary: Basic from $3000 - $7000
- Working Hour: 5.5 Days; Monday - Friday (9 am - 6 pm), Saturday (9 am - 1pm)
- Location: Alps Avenue (East)
Job Scope:
- Air Export Processes: Efficiently manage all activities related to air export processes and associated tasks
- System Proficiency: Familiarity with SysFreight and CCN systems is preferred
- Documentation Preparation: Prepare and execute airwaybills for various types of cargo, including general, dangerous, and perishable goods. Create export documents such as cargo acceptance checklists, cargo security certificates, indemnity letters, and airline labels
- Cargo Handling: Ensure all export cargo is properly marked and labeled before transfer to airlines. Provide accurate and timely instructions to cargo handlers for cargo transfer
- Customs and Compliance: Submit export cargo clearance permit details to the customs permit declarant. Handle Customs Permit Declarations in compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Billing and Data Management: Manage the complete billing process, ensuring deadlines are met. Maintain accuracy in data entry and updates
- Communication: Send pre-alerts to shippers and overseas agents. Attend to customer inquiries via email, respond promptly to complaints, and provide solutions or assist with recovery actions
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the Air Freight Team
- Shipping Documentation: Prepare shipping documents and handle customs declarations and Tradenet operations
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth operations and good customer service. Follow up on shipment status and provide updates to agents and clients. Plan for the collection and delivery of shipments with contractors to meet shipping deadlines
- Customer Payments: Ensure all COD customer payments are collected prior to releasing the bill of lading or delivering to customers
- Job File Management: Close all job files promptly to meet month-end closing deadlines
- Customer Relations: Maintain good relations with customers and ensure high-quality customer service
- Profitability: Ensure business profitability with regular reviews with management. Source freight quotations and support the pricing team in business development
- Official Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by management. Provide timely feedback to customers on freight status and ensure timely creation and updates of specific customer SOPs
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required. Build good business rapport with both external partners and internal customers
- Oversee air import operations
