Primary Responsibilities
- Managing production department to ensure efficient and effective production operations through optimising resource allocation and monitoring production metrics
- Overseeing and managing the overall budget expenditure and manpower arrangement
- Implementing process improvement to maximise productivity and waste management
- Responsible in continuous improvement and operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement, implementing team manufacturing principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement among the team members
- Conduct meeting, managing and ensure workplace safety and health and auditing to align with Quality Environmental Safety and Health (QESH), ISO and compliance from regulatory requirements.
- Leading and managing Electrode Consumption Reduction (ECR) reduction and closure
- Providing guidance, mentoring to the production staffs and monitor its performance
Requirements
- Relevant study in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Good to have 8 years of relevant working experiences in chemical manufacturing field
- Good to handle or involve in ISO Certification processes
- Familiar with Environment Safety and Health regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
