IT JSON Developer – Data Warehouse and Regulatory Reporting System
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of IT JSON Developer within Information Technology Department.
The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic team that is in-charge of the data warehousing and local regulatory reporting systems.
These are crucial systems to ensure business users will be able to meet the reporting requirements by the regulator.
You will be expected to play an important role in ensuring good quality, timely delivery of the system solutions with primary assignment of analysing, designing, developing, and implementing business applications to improve productivity and enhance customers’ services.
- To evaluate, explore and apply new Information Technologies to computerize all banking applications to achieve cost-savings and improve productivity
- Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
- Translate business needs to Technical Specification
- Develop and update technical documentations and guide
- To maintain and modify the systems and applications assigned to enhance customer service
- To evaluate, analyse and design the System/Application assigned according to the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and to develop all required documentations and conduct testing according to the standard framework
- Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
· Financial Institution experience with local regulatory reporting knowledge is preferred
· Possesses development experience with knowledge on the following will be an advantage:
a) IT Systems running in Unix/Linux/Windows servers
b) Technical knowledge in SQL/Relational Databases
c) Development knowledge in JSON data format preferably using JavaScript scripting language
d) Ability to generate JSON files using other external source files i.e. text files, csv files etc
e) Ability to create SPA(Single-page Application) that use server-side JSON restful services
f) Understanding of data structures and algorithms
g) Skills in W3C Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation
h) API development knowledge and basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Background in data warehouse design/development with analytical skills
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL framework
- Good knowledge of SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, etc.
- Maintain reporting system and business intelligence solutions
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs

- Ability to work within a pressurized environment, meeting challenging deadlines
- Client facing, with strong written and verbal communication
