1.Primary Position Responsibilities & Outcomes
- Support Role: Assist the maintenance manager and aircraft engineers with assigned tasks, ensuring they are completed safely, thoroughly, and on time.
- Project Execution: Complete daily projects within specified timeframes.
- Assignment Fulfillment: Perform daily hanger and aircraft assignments as directed.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Provide expertise on Regulatory ADs, Bell ASBs, TBs, Service Installations, STCs, and third-party engineering orders related to Bell aircraft configurations.
- Planning and Analysis: Conduct planning and capacity analysis to support the efficient operation of the section.
- Safety Advisory: Immediately report any observed or experienced safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Aircraft Maintenance: Conduct modifications, servicing, maintenance, and repair of aircraft airframe systems according to approved maintenance data and engineering drawings.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Assist in operational/functional tests, troubleshooting, and defect rectification.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and test equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and appropriate for the tasks.
- Flexible Work: Assist with hanger and mobile tasks as needed.
- Independent Work: Demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Tooling Familiarity: Be familiar with common aviation tools.
- Policy Compliance: Understand and adhere to company HR procedures and policies.
- Work Environment Improvement: Contribute to and participate in improving the working environment.
- EH&S and Time Recording Compliance: Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety procedures and time recording policies.
- Adaptability: Be flexible with shifting priorities and schedules to meet company objectives.
2.Position Requirements
Education:
- University degree, aerospace trade school, or military technical school
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with general, commercial, and/or military aircraft
Skills / Certifications:
- Knowledge of rotary wing airframe systems and components
- Ability to comprehend technical data and installation instructions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other trades
- Ability to follow through on directions regarding assigned tasks
Preferred:
- 2 years of training from an appropriate trade or polytechnic school, military schooling
- CAAS B1.3 License or FAA A&P certification
- Experience in rotary wing maintenance
