Responsibilities:
- Establishes, implements and communicates the strategic direction of the organisation's operations division
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems for IC design
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organisation's goal and objectives
- Identifies, recommends and implements new processes, technologies and systems to improve and streamline organisational processes and use of resources for IC design
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organisation, are in line with the organization's business plan and vision to be a leader in IC design
- Establishes, communicates and implements operations related polices, practices, standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution
- Key talent acquisition and company-wide key person maintenance, coordinate between R&D, business and other different functions
- Bridge between finance and business, provide variety of tools and methodology to support business growth, and in turn improve financial system
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operation management
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering
- At least 10 years’ experience in IC design industry with minimal 5 years of upper management experience
- Familiarity with IC design lifecycle, architecture, design principles, and best practices
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor and IC design industry trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Lead and mentor a team of engineering leaders, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures and best practises in the semiconductor industry in general and IC design in particular
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite
